about

I learned throughout this turbulent period in my life that everything is a cycle. The sun will rise, the sun will set. The Earth will always rotate around the sun. I wake up, I live, I go to sleep, and then do it over. While this cycle flows, life happens. Things happen that can change your entire timeilne, or even how you view life. No matter the things that happen throughout the day, the week, the month, etc; the sun will always rise, and the sun will always set. The balance I've found this last year in my life is to do what you can to make it to the next day. No matter what happens, I promised myself I will do whatever it takes to make it to the next day. This ended up being the overarching theme of this project. Throughout the cycles of our lives and the universe, there is balance. Throughout the life circumstances we face, the best place I found peace and balance was in knowing that I did everything I could so I could make ti to the next day and work to be even better.

Alex H. - I love you more than you know. You watched me go through it all and grounded me through it all. You inspired me to continue working hard throughout all of it and you reminded me how hard I was working and how it''ll pay off. I couldn't have made this project what it was without you.

Annaleigh - YOOOOO You went ABSOLUTELY crazy with this art. Not even just that, you've been an amazing friend and I got to get to know you in a different way. It made me appreciate our friendship in a completely different way. I really, really appreciate you dealing with me being extra and bringing me back down when I was getting in a bit over my head. I'm glad we became good friends throughout this process, this has been so much fun and you've pushed me so much as a creative. I've learned a lot from you and I can't wait to continue learning from you!

Wade & Jamil - Y'all are family. Always Young Kings. The older I get the more appreciative I get of watching y'alls journeys, and of y'all being here for mine. I love watching y'all grow and I couldn't have done this without your support. I'm very excited to continue watching you both grow in your own lanes respectively!

Family - I'm lump summing y'all cuz it's a bunch. Y'all are great. Y'all supported me through this rough year and although i butted heads with a handful of y'all, the support I've received the last few years alone has been amazing. I've watched all of you grow in different ways (even though i'm the baby lol), and although we're all struggling y'alls progress has made me so absolutely happy. Thank you for showing up, showing out, and understanding that it's okay to reach out for help.

My plants and Shiloh - I know this seems dumb but I started growing last year in the beginning of the pandemic. I adopted shiloh around the same time. My plants taught me patience. They taught me I don't need to rush to do something just because i'm super excited about it because 9 times out of 10 it's not ready. My dad used to tell me patience was a virtue, I understand it a lot better now that I've watered my seeds and let them grow. Shiloh reminds me to take breaks cuz she'll meow at me incessantly if I'm at the computer too long so I can come to play with her. I be getting annoyed by it until I'm sitting with her watching her play with her toys and purring. She also taught me to slow down and to check in with yourself, and not just yourself, the people around you. Life still goin keep moving whether or not you're moving with it. The people around you are doing the same thing. Reach out, see how ya friends and family doing. Let them know you love them if you don't have the time to check in. Anyway...

Special Thanks to Ian (postwrigley), Isaiah, Jai, Rich, False Flag, Mephisto Genetics (y'alls shit got me THRU), Sharkula, Mikey B, Ben, Real Ones Podcast, Sasha and her family, and Nate H.

To the individual people I confided in for creative input, constructive criticism or otherwise; I'd like to thank you. I'd like to list everyone but it's waaaay too many people to count lol.
